The Avalon and Indigo CTP hits the streets!

I am super excited about the first CTP of Avalon and Indigo that work nicely together.. And check that out – we beat the March 38th date rudder promised at VSLive!   Do we get a bonus for that ;-)

This bits work on top of the latest VS 2005 CTP and include some nice project system support in the SDK.  I can’t wait to see what kind of apps you build with these bits… Have a blast!

March 38th? I would have been very surprised if you reached that milestone.

My initial reaction was "Yippee!"...but having just made my way to the MSDN Subscribers' area and expectantly selected "Avalon and Indigo Community Technology Preview - March 05 (English)" I get a "Content not available" message.

Which is somewhat disappointing.

I was holding out for March 43rd myself.

Sorry about that Kevin... could you try again? I had a couple of others try and it seemed to work for them now...

Brad, I managed to log in to MSDN subscribers but the only download under WinFX is:

"WinFX SDK - Avalon - Community Technology Preview... Date Posted 11/18/2004 4:32:00 PM"

On reflection (pun intended :o) ) it's probably a replication issue as I'm located in the UK. Hmmm, how can I force msdn.microsoft.com to use the US site? :o)

Still the same problem - Mike could be onto something, since I'm in New Zealand.

I might try again tomorrow.
