About FrankPr's World of Devices
Hi, my name is Frank Prengel, I am a Technical Evangelist at Microsoft Germany - so my job consists mainly of talking & writing about what Microsoft has to offer for embedded & mobile developers that build devices or write applications for such devices. In this blog I cover Windows Embedded technologies & tools, Windows Mobile, Visual Studio, .NET, robotics, the rest of the Microsoft platform, as well as other technical and non-technical stuff that I find interesting or worth knowing. (Prior to working for Microsoft, I was a researcher at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at Technical University of Berlin where I worked on modelling and simulating nonlinear quantum transport phenomena in low-dimensional semiconductor nanostructures, btw. Being a technology evangelist is definitely more fun ;-)
