Jim Newkirk Announces CodePlex

Over the last year, I found myself working on an another exciting [sigh] v1 product [sigh] at Microsoft [sigh] with an amazingly talented and passionate team [sigh].As a born blogger, there are few things more difficult than keeping a big, fat, exciting secret. As a Microsoft employee, there are few opportunties more thrilling than working on a v1 product with the likes of Jim Newkirk. Choices, choices.

Needless to say, I have learned to keep secrets well, over the last few years. Today, for the first time in a long, long time, I no longer must! Today, my PM Jim Newkirk let the cat out of the bag. CodePlex.com Beta is live.

It's a new day.

Imagine a blog entry where I talk about my first thoughts of CodePlex Beta that went live yesterday.

For quite some time now, I have been involved, through the superb efforts of Korby Parnell, with being an "Insider" with a new effort from the group that Brad just joined. I am extremely pleased to see Jim's announcement that CodePlex is live.
