Visit our Blogger Lounge at Macworld!

With Macworld 2007 almost upon us, we at MacBU are excited to be participating in this great conference again. In addition to our usual activities (booth presence, presentations, demos, parties, etc), we're doing something new this year to support the Mac blogging community. We are sponsoring the first Blogger Lounge at Macworld, which will be located in Booth 702 of the Exhibit Hall (near our main Microsoft booth). Details can be found here on the Macworld event page.

It will be a casual atmosphere for bloggers, podcasters, and other online community members to hang out, relax, and blog/post about the event without having to search for an Internet Cafe or run back to their hotels. There will be iMacs available, couches, tables, refreshments, and Internet access for those with notebooks.

In addition, many of our Mac Mojo bloggers will be there as well. We've created a mini-schedule in case folks are interested in knowing who will be in the Blogger Lounge at what times:

Tues, Jan. 9

3:00 - 5:00        Erik Schwiebert, Development Lead

Wed, Jan 10

10:00 - 12:00     Andy Ruff, Lead Program Manager

1:00 - 3:00        Rick Schaut, Development Lead

3:00 - 5:00        Nadyne Mielke, User Experience Researcher; Erik Schwiebert, Development Lead

Thurs, Jan 11

10:00 - 12:00    Brian Johnson, Product Manager

1:00 - 3:00        Brad Post, Developer

3:00 - 5:00        Nadyne Mielke, User Experience Researcher

Fri, Jan. 12

10:00 - 12:00    Sheridan Jones, Group Marketing Manager

There will likely be other MacBU folks who swing by when they're not in meetings or working in the other MS booth, but we wanted to make sure there were definite times when our staff (esp. our Mojo bloggers) would be around. Hope to see you there!

# What are we going to see at Macworld?

What is the official Macworld program from Microsoft? What will you show or announce? The lineup of Microsoft products for Mac OS X has shrunk in the last years so that I am really wondering what MS is going to show at Macworld.

Dear Sir:

When it is that the MBU makes the technology above for the Mac Office ?

This is the future.

You have some intention to place this technology in Mac Office ?

PS: The new Mac Office is translated for Portuguese language ?

Hello!

Thanks for hosting what I call the "Bloggers Club" at MacWorld.  It was a very exciting part of the whole event and I think Microsoft has only scratched the surface of what could be done at booth 702.

Best,

Zennie
