Come to PRS310
In my PDC 2005 talk, PRS310, I'll be discussing ways developers can expose their data sources to the Windows Vista Explorer so they can participate in the full storage user experience: searching, stacking, property viewing and editing, "live icon" thumbnails, etc. I'll also describe how developers can extend the standard schema, the schema which ships with Windows Vista, to add their own custom properties, and I'll show how to customize the Windows Vista Explorer user experience to deal with those new properties.
The observant reader will notice that PRS310, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 3:15pm, conflicts with Anders Hejlsberg's talk "TLN307 - C#: Future Directions in Language Innovation". But the good news is that TLN307 will have a repeat session the next afternoon at 2:15pm! So, instead of fighting the crowd, come to PRS310 in room 501ABC.
