The form cannot be displayed because session state is not available.

If you get this error you have probably forgot to set up your session state in the forms configuration: or you have not set up your share service provider correctly. Happened to me today! :)

VS Extensions for SharePoint in 64 bit?

Sorry to say but it is not supported. You will have to use a 32 bit environment for development and use the output files on a 64 bit deployment. The reason is that even though VS can be installed in a 64 bit environment, it is still a 32 bit application
